1. Yeah, I think the exam was good and thorough. I think the exam was changed since I did mine.
2. Certificate is just something extra. It's almost always good to have experience.
3. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I studied for like 2 months before associate level exam and and I had about 1 year of experience by then.
4. Jobs are there everywhere. I get like 10 messages per month on LinkedIn asking if I am looking for a new job.
5. Did the exam on my own.
6. I was already working at the time I did my exam.
