Any excuses about quality and shit aren't excuses because over time you can fix that (If you start now may be in a year or so they will come up to speed). Also people over working reduces the quality because they might be tired and have other things on their minds.

Also if you think you can do better overseas why not migrate without whining about it and talking about doing a service. You go someone else will fill your shoes. Non of us are indispensable.

Do you think hospitals only operate until 6.00PM? Is your mother going to look after the inpatients, ICU and accident services?
Most docs are already leaving, only the ones who have responsibilities here or the ones who aren't accepted by foreign countries will remain anyway.

Also If I am not mistaken normally at night the load is a bit low in wards (I have stayed in wards)

Ithink eka tama ban kiyanne atleast now they need to start bringing in more people in to it. then after an year or so it will start functioning proplerly. Inna un kamathi ne aluth un enawata OT natiwena nisa. Borunam balapan.

FYI not only health sector but all other sectors also lack the workforce. Even IT. only solution is to inject more people in to those fields. Private universities might be a good solution but then again people who are there right now don't like to sacrifice their OT and shit.
