If you going for a canon just save a little bit and go for a 60D :). anyway 600D is also fantastic for a beginner. but i prefer 60D because you will need semi-pro features when you get the hang of photography in future.

Go to Cameralk Nice Shop Good Service Good Price
i Got my 600D from Them, Cropped Sensor Camera But Really Good Entry Level Camera.
18-55mm Kit lens Eka Cam ekata Enawa. I love that Lence.
IF You Need more Zoom bye 55-250mm Lens.(Best Affordable For Beginner)
Umba Lens Change Kara kara Use karanna Akamathi nam 18-135mm Ekka Ganna.
But Image Quality May Be Less for Full Range Lenses

..:in the Capital of Down South:..
60D is better than 600D...:yes:and you'll need a good speed light with it. you can surely cover a wedding with both of them... in Sri Lanka they cover a wedding with a Nikon D90 and one speed light. it depend on how you use it..

    these videos will help

Oni cam ekaka shutter count limit ekak thiyenawa machang. Normally for a
    entry level camera it's 100,000
    semi-pro dslr 150,000
    pro dslr 200,000+

but with proper servicing this numbers can go much higher machang. don't worry about those things when you buy your cam. those thing are valid even if you are going to buy a pro dslr. ignore shutter count limit. because once iv heard from a well known photographer his backup cam (60D) got more than 250,000 photos with proper servicing and maintaining. going for a canon is better in terms of camera failures. even i have a nikon but as for the reviews canon shutter failure rates are much lower than nikon. :)
