its indoors in Exhibition & convention center (near lake house)..so the hall is pretty big..

Now lady.. 29th wazs the day... I got to know he feeling of getting drunk without alcohol, or nay kind of a substance that is used to get high. Ask from Earthling, I was gone after seeing him performing on stage. Lemme tell u guys, it can be quite dangerous seeing your favourie artist performing on stage, cos, seriously I thought Im gonna get a heart attack or get crushed to die. But wow... It was the best ever feeling in the whole wide world.

Crowd went mad and pushed the guards away and there was a blow. I managed to take some pics, and after everything was over, I found out, that my jeans were torn and my legs were wounded while getting crushed between the crowd and the stage. Someone was on top of me when I bent to take pics, and yeah, my back is gone, hurts pretty bad.

Civilization One, loved the crowd, it was a brilliant experience for them. Chitral was very very happy to see a response like that in his mother land. It was amazing... And for me, I had my dream come true, a dream of 13 years came true when chitral got on stage with his international appearance, for he first time in Sri Lanka..

The crowd, the gig, the moshpit & chitty…wow what a gig…

Think the moshpit really started going with Nemesis… & never stopped…& just as Civi1 started.. the entire crowd rushed towards the stage..imagine maybe 5000-6000 rushing all at once & the security guards just panicked ..so everybody could get right infront..And Me & my friends were in the very front… and had a chance to shake hands with chitty when he got down…

& the crowd was fucking awesome man… stage rushes & guys diving to the crowd (The idiot security guys nearly broke a poor guys neck when the idiots tried to tackle him when he was about to leap to the crowd off the stage..what the hell were the Muppets thinking ? don’t they know that this is how a metal gig is ?)

And the pit was freaking awesome…saw Chaturanga from FIH having a blast in the pit..

And how gud was Civilization 1 ? wow.. they just brought the house down… Chitty’s vocals & Kai’s guitar solos..The ones who haven’t seen it..wouldnt know how it is to see an all out guitar Solo by a professional player of an international Power Metal Band..Its just bliss..

Seriously I don’t think even Chitty himself expected a response like this… The crowd was unbelievable..

It was a perfect show for me except for one regret…if only chity had done “Nadee Ganga Tharanaye’ the show would have been perfect..

But as chitty said..They will be return..So all good things should be in small doses..

This year has been awesome for us SL metal heads..So many quality gigs happening all through the year..and one of my most anticipated gigs still to come.. “Stigs album launch in December” (Had a chance to meet Tenny & he said they are hoping for a December 21 release date)…

Glad to meet u also, bt tll u the truth, cant remember what the fuck i ws talking about, as i told u, i ws high on "Chitral".. hehe..

I took pics, posting on rock.lk in a while, they'l be up on my "myspace profile", here as well as on FB but a littlelater (FB is blocked at office, thats why)

there was no fight machan, I was right in front, near the edge, the round part of the stage, and i ws taking pics, when i got crushed between te stage and the crowd, also, i had the privilege of scolding security n police in filth, when they just pushed sohan off the stage on to me, fuckers, wouldve broke my cam again. if that happened, i swear i'll fucking kill someone there. I got wounded for the nails on the stage and yeah, some bugger managed to get on me while i ws bending to take pics and yeah, my back was fucked.

I'l tel u, this is the best thing ever that can happen to a photographer. Taking the pics of their favourite artist on stage. Damn I was lucky... Credit goes to NIraj Wickramasinghe, CEO of TNL RN.

Yeah, I did break my cam earlier while taking pics in Kandy. Actually Sohan didnt land on top of me, he was put on top of me. Crazy security fellows. Im sure, most of them must've thought, what the hell, cos they've never seen anything like this before.

I will always take pics if Chitral aiya performs on stage. Wont miss it even for the whole world.. No way.. And ur welcome arthling.. Also, opn second thoughts, the pics will only be up on myspace. I'll make it a pubic album and post the link on the forums ok
