CMS hires interns very rarely as the clients usually require engineers with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience to directly work with them. Internships are great for product development companies but at CMS, engineers are required to work directly as a part of the client's onsite team. Only a few interns are hired mainly for internal purposes. It's not practical to respond to all intern applications as many CVs are received.
