Configuring Comtrend ADSL Router

hi !
I recently bought a Comtrend ADSL2+ combo router (CT5611) I tried my best to configure it for SLT adsl. the problem is that it does not log into internet automatically...
instead I have to create another Dialup connection to log into internet!!!!! my ADSL line and connection cables are ok...and i tried in different computers also..but same results...

I phoned SLT but they tell only VPI/VCI and other settings...PLease Somebody help me to configure it properly...coz i need to use it with another wireless netgear Access point...

log in to router then put user name & password , vpi = 8 vci =35 .

Prtocol : PPPoEE..
Encapsulation : LLC (PPPoEE LLC)

I use the same router. mine did not work even after configuring those settings. At last i complained to the technical department of slt and they fixed the problem.

hi..i configured my comtrend router using above settings...at last ADSL LED turned on infront of router started without blinking ( previosly it was not like that)....but it still have the problem....can not log into internet without a another connection please help me

Machan i had the same prob. Just chnage ur password, it will work for sure. you can chnage the ADSL password online now.
