Bt we also need something to turn on to when we are down & out..a code of conduct or a philosophy where we need to follow to live a better & a fulfilling life..thats why even though I'm a catholic, I have great respect for Buddhism... Not the Monks (I've lost respect for most of them some time ago) but true Buddhism as a philosophy.. As a simple guideline you could use to liv your life..

Feedom of thought has a prime place in any religion. I stand by your openion. Lord Buddah said not to beliive any thing just because it passes to you from your parents, or just because majority is with that idea or just because some one told you or you see it as correct. You have to truly analyse the fact and make yourself sure that what you are going to beleive is correct according to your own concenses
