navigation: (in command mode)
    beginning of a word: b
    end of a word: e
    beginning of the next word: w
    move to top: H
    move to middle: M
    move to bottom: L
    move to line start: $
    mode to line end: 0
    goto line x: xG
edit
    delete line: dd
    delete word: dw
    delete below x lines: dx
    append to line: A
    change word: move to beginning -> cw
    change line: cc
    change character: s
copy paste:(yank / put)
    copy line: yy
    paste: p
    copy x lines: xyy

find and replace: :%s/oldvalue/newvalue

Some interesting facts​

Shell is a interpreter that interpret terminal commands in unix like systems
Default shell - sh (Bourne shell) /bin/sh
Bash - (Bourne again shell) /bin/bash - enhanced version of Bourne shell
