    Hay Tj,

Dialog people even called you and advice you that they experiencing issue with base station!!!

:confused:If it is an ADSL issue SLT crazy support people doesn’t even know that there is an issue lol

Also SLT Engineers are like that too, what I can guess is they don’t have much experiences on ISP sector or they don't like to provide much information to the end user

    :rolleyes:Sri Lanka Telecom Monopoly:rolleyes:

Dialog Broadband can call and tell their each n every customer cz their customer base is small, but in like SLT they also can but in reality just think calling every customer??
but there's an issue with SLT engineers and SLT CC ,like you said when there's a fault a customer must call and acknowledge that there is an isse :D poor SLT
btw they are upgrading to DSL2 hope there will be some new packages for customers ;)

:D SLT always plan to do some thing new but it’s always getting late to work out, just wonder what has happen to IPTV?

If they have any plan to install ADSL2+ DSLAM of cause that is great!!!

But ADSL2+ speed should be anything above and between 8M – 24M. SLT almost used different copper lines and I am pretty sure they can’t provide ADSL2+ speed, even they provide ADSL2+ service, basically ADSL2+ is not stable as it used high frequency.

:P “There are several factors that could affect the broadband speed, for example distance of your premises from the exchange, quality of your copper line and it also depend on if you have any other voice service on that copper line that could deteriote the line speed.”:P

i was about to purchase a Wimax connection and i found that web page by a mistake! Then I contacted a friend of me who got the wimax package and he complains that they are slowing down the connection to 10kb/s of download speed!! (but i dnt have seen it!! lol)

SLT sucks, in the day time, ADSL is getting slow down to half of its maximum speed that i get in the night time. but still ADSL is the best, i have to say that. but i feel sorry!!!

and, in every week, i get my rapidshare ac busted due to exceed their 25GB limit!!!! now what the hell i'm gonna do with a monthly 4GB limited connection?

 True say man.......... But you know what?
Apperently I received a call from the Dialog and said they are doing a sruvey and wanted to know whether I'm happy about it from the beginning.

I said " The Installation team who came was so helpful and they tried there best to find a base station and to fix the issue". Also I added " After the installation I ran a speed test and it was great

BUt After few days the download speed has gone below 256"

And also I said " You guys have to improve a lot Especially the call center"

But GUess what I think I'm not getting Dropouts now. and also NO connection Failures......

I'm happy cause I think Dialog is improving......

coz, wts the use of it,if it slow down for 56kbps.
It's no suprise why SLT keep looking without taking any action.because they know wt the truth behind DIALOG BROAD BAND WIMAX.
    ADSL is the best
