If you live and work in SL while been paid in USD it will fall to a category called "export proceeds" and then get converted to LKR whether you like it or not (Thank you 6.9mil). So people doing freelance are fucked.

If you work abroad and send your money, it will remain as the foreign currency you send. Not sure till when though)
