Make sure your CPU and RAM are stable. Run OCCT for couple of hours to test the CPU and run Memtest86+ (from bootable disk) to check RAM. After that, run a hard disk scan from HDTune or the official software for the hard disk (you have to do this AFTER checking the RAM). If everything works fine, try a different IDE cable for the hard disk.
I don't think you have a overheating issue.
Edit: I just saw this:
You definitely DON'T have a overheating issue,
especially if it is not overclocked.
If could be a PSU issue, but can't say for sure before testing others.
