what to do when you are feeling behind in life?

just a moment ago I had a discussion with a girl and got to know that she is only 19.

now working at one of the top companies.

I'm also in a little bit better situation if I compare myself to a few months back.

but that feeling always haunts me. when those girls come to my age they will be working as techleads.

and I feel bad about myself. had to fight my entire life. had to sacrifice almost everything.

I feel like no matter how hard I try I will never be able to get that time back

Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. Everyone’s journey is different and just because someone seems ahead doesn’t mean you’re behind. You’re on your path at your own pace and that’s more than enough. Be kind to yourself. You’re doing better than you think.

You can’t compare your Chapter 1 to someone else’s Chapter 20.

People are setup differently in life, some are well off and do a job because they want to keep themselves occupied, on the otherhand some do jobs to survive, build lives.

Almost all around me when I started were well off, some guys just used the salary as pocket money where as for me, it was about feeding my family.

I had to buy my first car all by my own, I had to build my house all by my own. I basically started from scratch.

What I regretted later was that I was so hell bent over becoming rich by just earning a salary. That shit will never work. You cannot never ever get rich or reach the next level if you try to get everything from your salary and saving. You need to figure out how to invest and do other things. This is something that I am trying to figure out at this stage.

When I started I didn't have anyone to tell me anything that would help me or give that additional push to go to the next level.

People are jealous and selfish
