I have seen fruit bearing plants and eaten the fruits. But in South Americas. Haven't heard of anyone growing it in SriLanka.

Yeah i tried to contact lot of exotic plant nurseries and non of them had. I wonder weather they have a another name for this plant.

It seems those plants are making lot of fruits compared to the size of the tree, also i feels like those plants are closely related to the local fruit called සීනි පේර/ඇඹුල් පේර(cherry guava/strawberry guava)
