true. witcher 3 deserves this, its the best game i had ever played. i know i will be the first one to preorder witcher 4 gg fallout 4 also a nice game but i havent finished it yet. both are nice decent games with nice stories. keep it up

“Majority” of Street Fighter 5 server issues resolved, says Capcom

Street Fighter 5 still needs a bit of work but Capcom reckons you should at least be able to get a match now.

Street Fighter 5 had a pretty dreadful launch, but while the development team is continuing to work on optimising the game Capcom believes the worst of the problems are over.

​

“There were some issues with the Street Fighter 5 servers but we’re happy to report that the majority of those issues have now been resolved,” digital media and eSports director Neidel “Haunts” Crisan wrote on Capcom Unity.“That said, we know there is still a lot left to optimize and not everyone’s experience has been the same.”

While matchmaking is apparently now working as intended across ranked and casual mode, there are some known issues:​

• Battle Lounge
  Playing in the same Battle Lounge for a set period of time renders players unable to participate in the lounge or matches. Many of the other issues with Battle Lounge have been resolved and users should be able to invite other players to their lounge. The team is still looking at this mode very closely and will continue to make improvements as we move into the weekend time frame.

• Match Results
  Some users have reported that their match results are not being sent to the server. In most cases, this is more or less a UI bug and your results along with your rewards will still be credited to your account. If you are unsure if your match was recorded, check your battle log and if the match appears there, it will also be recorded on the server.

• Replay Search
  Some of the more recent replay data won’t be available immediately when searching the replay database but the team is working on making those replays available as soon as possible. All of your personal replays are immediately available by going through your fighter profile.

As well as these problems, Capcom is currently working on the following:​

• Some user names don’t show up in Rival Search.
• Some user names don’t display properly on battle results screen.
• Ranking functionality isn’t working properly on the CFN.

In case you missed it before launch, here’s Capcom’s service roadmap for the months ahead. Yo’ll notice plenty of DLC characters and it’s probably worth remembering that they can be purchased with in-game currency as well as real money.

Studio head Adam Badowski said in a press release stating that “If people would ask this is the last game of the Witcher series then yes, it is. Because we believe the series should end at the high notes.”

Soon after, Eurogamer reported the actual meaning of the Adam Badowski’s statement. The website reported that the Badowski meant was that The Wild Hunt series will be the last game in the Witcher triology but the game will continue in its new series to entertain their loyal customers/fans who have become part of their family. CEO Adam Kicinski has stated that the “franchise will be continued.”

it'll probably take another 4, 5 years. maybe more. they said they need some time off from witcher series. next title is cyberpunk 2077. so i wouldn't expect to play another witcher title anytime soon

I don't think it's a good idea. At least they should consent with Andrezj Sapkowski.
Witcher is all about Geralt & Ciri.
If it's going to follow a different story line then I think it'll do damage to the franchise than any good.
But what I would like bringing back incidents from the books.
Specially if they did all from the beginning starting from "The Last Wish".
The witcher books are epic! I loved them as much as the "Song Of Ice & Fire" Novels. Still reading "The Baptism of Fire"
Specially if they can recreate how Geralt met Yennefer and the real "Last Wish" and the first couple of battles between nothern realms & Nilfgaard. Duny, Calanthe & Ciri's mother & the promised child... Brokilone Forest..
Vilgefortz vs Geralt!!! Those would be Epic!!!

Anyway there are some rumors that Vilgefortz will appear in Blood & Wine. And also Strigas & Manticores. I hope they make the monster battles much harder & a bit more tactical

Fallout 4 Wins Game of the Year at DICE Awards 2016

The 19th annual DICE Awards have wrapped, and Fallout 4 was the big winner of the evening.

The announcement was made this evening at the Pete Holmes-hosted affair at The Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Other notable winners were The Witcher 3, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Rocket League with 3 gongs each.As well as the standard game awards, late Nintendo president Satoru Iwata was the recipient of a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award, while Hideo Kojima was inducted into the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences' Hall of Fame.

​

The Academy is made up of publishers, developers and members of the Independent Game Developers Association.​
