If Khabib Nurmagomedov is serious about leaving the UFC, it seems he may have a Bellator offer waiting – in cash, no less.
50 Cent, who in recent months has becoming something of a brand ambassador for Bellator, is not pleased with the way the relationship between Nurmagomedov (27-0 MMA, 11-0 UFC) and the UFC brass has gone in the wake of the UFC lightweight champion’s victory over Conor McGregor (21-4 MMA, 9-2 UFC) at UFC 229 this past weekend.
The UFC has taken fights away from Nurmagomedov’s teammates in the fallout of the situation and even threatened to release those same fighters. Nurmagomedov has said he would leave the organization if that happened – and that he doesn’t need his $2 million purse that’s being held by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).
Well, 50 Cent apparently has Nurmagomedov’s back (via Twitter):
