I'l tell the best VGA Cards in order,

1) Nvidia 9800 GX2 (very very expensive, its a 2 gpu card)
2) Nvidia 9800 GTX (Expensive but awesome performance)
3) Nvidia 8800 Ultra (sometimes its better than 9800 GTX but price to performance wise 9800 GTX wins)
4) Nvidia 8800 GTX (less expensive than 9800 GTX but almost the same performance)
5) Nvidia 8800 GTS (good card and good value for mny)
6) Nvidia 8800 GT (good but not like the others, can play anygame without hiccups)
7) Nvidia 9600 GT ( this is almost the same performance as 8800 GT but less expensive, its the best card in the market according to price to performance ratio)

These are the top 7 VGA cards with Direct X 10. This is 100% sure and no argue about it.

bugs ur list is a bit flawed firstly 8800 ultra is out of production and is a piece of crap, utterly useless for the money u have to pay for it, u say 8800 GTS of what 8800 GTS r u talking abt, there is 3 8800 GTS cards 320MB, 640MB, 512MB...and the 512MB one is based on G92 and is a lil bit faster than a stock 8800GT, and is almost fast as a 9800GTX wich is based on the exact same core, so 8800GT and 9600GT wins hands down, 9800GX2 is way too expensive to buy and maintain so its out of the picture

    bad solution for games.
at least u should have 8600.
but its ok for normal works like surfing, watch films, pic edit,etc.......
but not for most of new games.

I hav a 8600GT..no problems so afr..playing Assasins creed, Pro street in 1024 res with high graphics wtihout any problems.. I hav a Gigabyte one & the best thing is the temperature...

even in stressed mode it only goes high as 67c..which is awsome..my earlier 69k one went up to 90c when stressed... this card it seems to hav the best cooling sys in the 8k range...

bt I know that 85k & 86k are frowned upon by gamers.. so if u r looking for the best card for good gaming still at a decent price ..then go for 8800GT/9600GT.. bt if u r willing to spend a bit more then go for a 8800GTX..maxa card

anyways... anyone know the price for 8800GT, GTS & GTX.. ????? really wanna know

8400GS sucks if ur a gamer... has a low clock speed and 128bit is not enough... 3Dmark score is also pretty low, but if ur a casual user and not playin high end games, its alrite... but damn graphic cards are exp in sl
