this is for all the girls who see this thread....if a female smoke cigarettes or any other similar nicotinic substances,,they have a very higher risk of getting lung cancers and other related diseases than a male who smokes the "SAME AMOUNT".....and furthermore if a female smokes extensively during their pregnancies,,it causes direct harm to the baby including mental retardation....

the most common cancer that occur world wide in males is lung cancer(and prostate cancer) and in females was breast cancer....but now that values have changed and lung cancer have become the number1 cancer type for females because of this new smoking tendencies among females........so be wise to ur self...(anyway,, whether a male or a female,,smoking is the most stupidest thing to do if you know the tons of bad effects it does to your body)

its no 1 killer but prevalence wise I think Breast cancer is the leading cancer for women( US stats).

Lung cancer is the second most common form of cancer and colorectal cancer is third among white women. The number 2 and 3 cancers are reversed among black and Asian/Pacific Island women.

yes i have also seen that web site(medicinenet.com)...but those figures are basically for US....and it's true as i have also mentioned in my 1st post that breast cancer is the number1 cancer for females but it's now changing because of this increasing smoking habits...anyway i said this from my medical books which i study...and remember that the medical material that you find in internet are not always authentic...(our professors have told us not to refer to the internet too much because of this)....
