Google changes its logo into an Artistic one on special days. These Artistic Logos are known as Google Doodles. Lot of Countries has a Google Doodle for their Independence Day. But not for Sri Lanka. So this small attempt is to request a Google doodle for the Independence Day of Sri Lanka.
• How can we get a Google Doodle?
To get a Google Doodle we must make a proposal. So all we have to do is to send an Email to “[email protected]” with this idea.
• How can you help us?
Okay first things first. Send an Email to “[email protected]” saying that you would like to see a Google Doodle on Sri Lanka’s Independence Day. Here is an example. You can copy paste this message. But it’s better if you can write a one on your own.

Hello, I’m <your name> from Sri Lanka We (Sri Lankans) celebrate our Independence Day on the “4th of February”. It’s going to be our 65th Independence Day on the 4th February 2013. So I would like to make a proposal to create a Google Doodle to celebrate Sri Lanka’s Independence Day since it’s a very significant and a vital day for more than 21 Million people who reside in Sri Lanka. We hope you will consider this kind request! Thank You!
• Don’t have an Email account?
Well don’t worry. We have an alternative method. Use this method ‘ONLY’ if you don’t have access to an email account.
1. Go to your Facebook Inbox (Messages)
2. Click the “New Message” button (mostly on the top of the right hand side)
3. Enter “[email protected]” in the ‘To:’ field.
4. Copy paste the Message or write your own message
Click the ‘Send’ button.
5. Solve the Captcha puzzle and hit ‘Submit’
