Having better hardware isn't everything machan at least not for me I need better firmware and better developer support for my phone. Look at SGS do samsung support that phone in anyway? no they don't they don't even support SGS2 properly so what good does it do having better hardware?


Are u even aware that samsung released ICS (android 4.0.3) update on last March 15th for SGS2 which is the same version that run on nexus. Isn't this is also by samsung ???. What do think what will happened to Nexus after they release s3. Anyway all depends on the person owns the phone. I am just arguing about the facts.

Jesus you have no idea do you ? Of course they released it with touchwizz which most of the users don't like because they killed ICS with it and filled it with bloatware. and before you post again of course they released kernel source code too. but that's it what about hardware libs for developers how the hell they gonna cook roms with out those. when they asked Samsung they refused it saying it's a property of samsung and it is closed source. I know SGS3 is coming but when it comes out they will drop all software support on SGS2. Like they did to SGS. SGS is completely capable of handling ICS. CyanogenMode proved it by cooking ICS ROM for it and runs smoothly but samsung said NO they won't release ICS for SGS.

EDIT: I flashed ICS Test builds from Samsung Since December. FIrst came out even before christmas

I also gave a galaxy s2, i saw this nexus on e-bay for $289
but didnt buy it caz of the specifications.
Is the cam better than S2?

Again If you are so keen on hardware yes the best is SGS2 but I am more concerned about firmware so Google is the best for me. If you have no interest about modding your phone flashing custom firmware and making your phone the way you want it SGS2 is the best for you

Since you are an iPhone user I have to tell you this

iPhone 3GS released in 2009 summer still supports iOS 5.1

Galaxy S GT-i9000 released in 2010 summer don't support ICS (v4.0)

That's why I switched to Google at least they care about their phones
