Help getting a VGA card, processor and mobo

i still don't understand why u call it crappy game?????????why do u hate it sooo much

you say graphics if fine,no it's not may be in ati vgas but not in nvidia gpu's coz i hve played test drive on a 7600gts 512mb vga and it wasn't that good..what i like about the game is that it gve da real driving pleasure, i mean you cn drift your car like hell and all those sound and interior of da vehicles look very similar 2 real cars......

every pci e 2.0 would support pci e 1.0

Ooops. I just found out that this is not the case!!

Only PCI-E 1.1 spec is backward compatible with PCI-E 2.0. PCI-E 1.0 and 1.0a are not backward compatible with PCI-E 2.0.

Certain Asus motherboards employing SLI seems to have an issue here, if you use both cards. One slots is PCI-E 1.1 and the other is 1.0 :S (WTF were Asus thinking??)

I'm planning to get the Geforce 8800 GTS 320MB and the Intel E6600. The Geforce 8800 at ASUS center is around Rs.45000 and the Intel Core 2 E6600 at PC house is around Rs. 40000

Do you guys know any other good places where I can get these two for cheap ?
It should have at least one year warranty.

Also, what is the best motherboard I could get for around 20-25K here in Sri Lanka ?

Please help me.

Hehe. I got lucky (lucky is an understatement, really!) and PC House sold me an X800GTO 256MB for Rs.9500, which I overclocked by, like 60% on the core
