How do they deduct taxes from Salaries?

hi machan,
i have applied for a job recently but machan tax payments karun ney kohomada kiyala dun ney ne? Assume i my salary is Rs. 50,000/- how much tax the employer will deduct? This is my first job machan!

There is a formula.

The income tax will be calculated as follows ::>>

For your case :: >>

You get paid monthly.

Tax Free Threshold divided by 12.

And if you earn more than that; that portion will be taxed.

Basic salary eka 50,000.00 nam 400Rs da koheda tax eka (mama 55k ganna kale 400k da koheda tama tax eka).habay basic eka 50,000.00 ta adu nam tax gewanna oni naha mata mataka widiyata.

and EPF walata basic eken 8% deduct karanawa

50,000*12= 600,000 =NO. tax I think. Not sure though better ask from your HR department..
