I am leaving Elakiri.

Hey guys,

I joined Elakiri last year, and up to today, I think i have not done anything personally wrong to you all. Strictly speaking, I hardly know any of you personally, except one or two.

There was a chat group in facebook by the name "Elakiri". During the days EK was down, even I had no choice but to join the group, because I missed you all.

It is not a wise thing for a girl to do, but i missed you guys terribly. But, sad to say, I got so many friend requests. I cannot reject them as well, cuz all of you are my friends. However, my parents had concerns that the number of guys in my profile are increasing.

Not that I have anything to hide, or to be ashamed of, but I do have concerns as a girl about all the risks. When they told me to remove all those I do not know personally, I did so.

However, there are guys who have got mad and pissed at me for removing them, that they went as far as calling me a bitch, a slut or a whore.

I am neither of them, I havent slept with men and I don't even have a boyfriend to be called by those names. It was a real sad moment for me, because I never had a personal grudge against you when i removed you.

If you call me "proud" or "bigheaded', that's the last thing i want to be. If i was bigheaded, i would not have even talked to any of you in the first place.

However I am so disappointed, by seeing the way you talked to me, I feel as if i'm a disgrace to my parents, because they never wanted me to be a "slut", a "whore" or a "bitch" to anyone. I'm sorry if i offended you.

I never really knew you were a girl... hehe.. But the thing you should do is remove all those buggers from FB and wait.

(I was really dissappointed in EK few years back. I thought of quitting. But I waited without logging on for about a month. Then I realized it was not the community's fault but rather some of the few @#$%&^*s who are in it.)

So before you do something, think it through. There are really good people here. As well as a minority of the other extreme. Hope you make a correct decision.
