kenthinam giye naumbata ehema penunada?im not talking abt meaningful threads...im talking about meaningful replies for the threads wich others are posting here....yh i agree its damn true 99% is spaming...but the situation in this site before was not like that...it was 1% of spaming and 99% meanignful things...wht menn?do we hv to post spamm to keep da forum active?LMAOwhy dnt we hv ny other ways to active da forum without spaming all around in the forum? kauruth kamathi na thamai...but why do we make it happen??? thaman ehema thathwayak thama wisinma athi kara ganne aii? mama spam kara nam mata spammer kiwwoth i will deffa agree to that...cz i admit my faults always...

if someone keep posting ela ela or thanx thanx or something like that in same trd then ya..it is wrong..but if someone post something good and then some one replyid ela ela.. it is not wrong.

Lets take an example!

Lets say! a member of EK.. maybe a school child, wants do a project and needs some research done! so he comes to EK open up a thread asks as many members to fill up the survey form, and he logs off!

Then comes a member who comment "ela ela" in about 10 threads in 5 minutes and bring them all up! and that thread already sunken and out of the board! without even 10 people seeing it!

Now is that fair for that member who wanted some help? Just because the other member needs to increase the post count?

u nuts? if we try to stop saying ela ela,hmm,hehe,thanks etc to every thread...do we can introduce elakiri as largest sri lankan online community bambuwa thama i agree there are sme threads we hv nothing to say except ela ela,thanks,etc...but not for all...making a meaningfull/thread related/informative reply post to a thread will make pple more knowledgable and make this community more better and take this communtiy more higher in everything

hmm... thats so true....but i posted same thing in ur trd.... thats is the way EK is going....as u know thr r 100 s SL forums. among them EK is the largest. cuz mainly it is entertaintments site. 99% of post r going on ek is basically useless. like chat on msn yahoo....i also doing same thing. so ya... we have to go big way to change this way...but i dont think it is gonna work.

P.S - people do need replies/complements/complains/regards to the threads what they post...members can thank/make suggestions/give ideas/argue/discuss by replying it and it will make their posts meaningfull except just posting nonsense (like posting junkies/post masters who need to make their post count higher and pass the other one by even one post)

insulting artists
posting songs and things with watermarks...etc...

thats EK.... so we have to go like that....

there r forums that u can discuss something meaninfull without much spamming...but ya EK is bcome biggest cuz of the way it is going.....

i have to point out something..
there are 82,454 members in EK now..
if they post one meaning full post per week..
its more than 11k post per day..
but in reality it wont happen..

GT is a very good ADMIN! As far as I know he is not gaining anything from EK.. if he is doing some business using EK and its members then we have a right to ask him to do this and do that!

But now every member has a responsibility to keep it clean too! A lot people who agree with SPAMMERS in this thread! I wonder whether they've done their part to help the ADMIN!! At least when they see a SPAM post care to drop a PM to GTRZ!

if they post one meaning full post per week..
its more than 11k post per day..
but in reality it wont happen..

yh i agree bro...from that 82000+ members there are very low percentage of members posting here ne...why cnt those people who post in da forum can make even 1 out of 10 posts meanigful? if they can do it...other ppl who dnt will also tryn to do it...in my point of view

that my friend is with our practices..
the "Recent Threads" block is just an add-on..
the real forum hidden in "Forums" link in the menu...
most of our members are used to this "Recent Threads" block..
and wont use the real forum that has more features...
thats why they miss the recent threads and discussions..
