I am using 12,000 BTU NS12VKY model, which was purchased from Damro. Electricity consumption is average apparently. It has Power cooling mode and sleep mode, but does not have an ECO mode. There are no other advanced features available. It does not have a hidden LED display on the indoor unit, which is a cool feature of many modern AC models. It has a green color LED display of two digits, which is very common in other electronic devices. Cooling gas is R410a. In the normal mode, it operates silently, but in the power mode, it is little noisy.
My conclusion is that this model is worth for the price paid and performance is satisfactory in an average user's point of view. If you don't mind paying additional 32,000 rupees and your intention is to use the AC around the clock, I would like to recommend the Aero series. You have to take into account your room size as well. 10,000 BTU may not be enough if your room is too large. However, 13000 BTU is very expensive(150,000 plus). Further, repair cost of the Aero series in an event of a failure may be considerably high, in comparison with a low tech model.
