after browsing on ebay for the hell of it i came across good deals on iphones. there are apparently good looking iphones on sale just under $200 which i think is quite a bargain..

my question is can we actually buy them and import over to sri lanka?
will the customs/TRC guys let them come through?

how much will i have to pay in terms of tax?

any help is greatly appreciated!

yes you can buy them and get them to SL. also you'll have to pay taxes and get license from TRC. tax prices depend.

mine came through Fedex coz of a person inside I didn't had to take TRC license but tax was Rs.5000 its before 3months+ time and mine price was mark as $800 I even paid only $750 including shipping. no idea about tax but if it was stopped then you have to take TRC license.
