ඉංග්‍රීසි හදාගන්න හොඳ තැනක් කියන්න කොළඹින්. ටිකක් කතා කරතහැකි. හැබැයි කියන දේවල් නම් හොඳටම තේරෙනවා. ග්‍රැමර් ගැන බින්දුවක් දන්නේ නැහැ.

Machanla, What are the best places to polish my kadda in Colombo. I can speak English a little bit but I can understand it very well. I learned English by watching TV Series' so I don't know anything about English Grammar. If someone says to me to write a sentence in that tense or this tense i am definitely not gonna be able to write it because I don't know about grammatical rules. not even the basics.

So Please help me.

for a guy who claims to not know a single bit about grammar, your grammar is pretty good.... at least in the sentences you've typed here.
if you can understand others, read and write at a pretty good level, you should have no problem in improving your speech, all it takes is practice.
as far as being able to categorically name every tense there is and what not is not of the greatest priority.
I can speak and write English well enough and I can't name all the grammatical categories and stuff off the top of my head.
are you able to translate a sinhala sentence in to english without any issues?
if so you should do just fine

this is how I can help you at this instance : It should be "if someone asks me to" instead of "if someone says me to".

I have friends who are keen in grammar rules. But many of them can't speak a single sentence without struggling.
