There must be a motive for any attack. Pakistan is a friend of Sri Lanka & has helped us with weapons against terrorism. Sri Lanka also spoke on behalf of Pakistan when they were banished from the Commonwealth. I don't see any motive of Pakistani Muslim extremists, to attack Sri Lanka. Obviously this is the work of LTTE supporters or gunmen hired by the Tamil Tigers.

Who ever did it, the Pakistan security persons must be held responsible for such careless security arrangements. They can learn a lesson from Sri Lanka, how we provide security for SAARC events & even for deyata kirula exhibitions. We can truly be proud of our security. In the midst of terror by the LTTE, all visiting dignitaries are very safe in Colombo. The stupid Pakistan security should hide in shame, for the damage they did to the good relations between 2 friendly countries.

For Pakistan, the game of cricket will only be a sad historical memory for long years to come. They should be banished from the game, until they learn their basics in hospitality towards their visitors.

My only thought for the moment is a silent prayer to the God almighty, to protect the lives of all our beloved boys.
