These fake ones are made by hacking the firmware of the unit and formatting it to show whatever capacity you want. Some people in SL are already marketing 128GB pens as well.

What they have done previously is, they take normal 256mb pen drives and flash them and make the size show as 32 GB or whatever.That's what used to happen before, but now these fakes have become even more technologically advanced. Now your pen drive will store 32 GB/64 GB, but it can never be copied back on to your computer or if it can be, the data is corrupted. Since it never stored the files, it merely stored the headers.
