    I have seen Cheetahs running behind Impalas in Africa. Not easy prey. Because the Impalas have the advantage in numbers. Some graze, some watch. Their tail movements warn about any impending danger. Probably the wind direction helps to get the scent of the predators too. Eventually the Cheetah returns to it's rock pedestal and starts the sequence again. Impalas are highly agile amd most of the time manage to escape.
