I'm not a linux user (I have used it a long time ago though). Its called "wine". its a windows emulator. It will not install windows drivers on linux though.

machan, different OS's are used for difference purposes. Linux is mainly used at a lot of server computers worldwide. Linux always dominated server market. Windows always had the PC market.

Linux is trying to get into the PC market and it might succeed. Or it may not. But still, I prefer windows in a PC. You are already seeing why. And you will continue to see why you should not use linux in a PC and eventually you will get back to windows

Most of those Ubuntu fanboys has about 5 GB partition that they have installed and running Ubuntu. Rest of the 700 GB is used for windows.

They install Ubuntu, install eye candy stuff on it like "Compiz/Beryl" and some docks etc. And then they just keep it like that cos they feel good when they have it in their HDD. They specially keep it to talk about it with other people. Maybe a little bit of web browsing will be done on ubuntu. Apart from that, each and every tasks they get are being done in windows.

That is because they prefer to only pay for the computer. Because they always know that paying for the OS is stupid when cracked versions are available for download. Otherwise they will divide the price they are gonna pay for the computer and buy the OS along with them. We should consider the OS as a part of the computer. Not as something that you can get and still you can pay if you like. Not all americans are rich either.

any way Linux VS Windows...

we can never compare them... each has their own features... i'm using ubuntu since 2009 and i still say windows is still better in some cases like software availability, user friendlyness likewise ..that is because of windows is widely used...and windows are getting paid for that and they do some business here.. if there are more users for linux there would be definitely large no of apps for linux...

if you dont like some os do not talk shit about it... and my advice is start use linux as secondary os if you are new to linux.. try to do everything you did in windows in linux and admit it.. then you will improve
