I would rather happy to see this much amount is being used to develop our exports, for some kind of production may be graphene of something or may be high quality tea or Anoda drink which we can't still match the demand from the west I dunno some shit where we can come out of this huge dept one fine day. Gvt need to be creative here but they're far from it. At the end of da day we would hv neither LRT nor exports.

8 Billion hmm interesting but that's overall figure I belive. So it's bit tricky, u can't say the whole 8Billion is saved by this project. Is there any analysis to see how much portion from that 8B is saved from this project? Also how much the operation & maintenance cost of this LRT project?

Member "Hancock" trying to say the LRT project is worthwhile to continue while you say it does not. Seem you both have knowledge in this area so why don't you two try to propose what exactly Sri Lanka should do.

I don't say it's worthless. I'm talking about priorities and I'm trying to understand the benifit of this project in financial terms.

I'm not really an economic expert but everyone can understand the fact that our expenditure is more than the income. So we need to bridge the gap. I can point out the ways we could do that but what's da benifit? Shitty politicians will never see them.
