KYB? LMAO. KYB is is basically as bad as your stock suspension. There are so many aftermarket brands which will give you better comfort or better handing, but not both. (depending on your needs)
Coilovers can be repaired and it's very common in motorsports, but if you have stock/OEM struts, there is no point in repairing.
IMHO if you are replacing, might as well upgrade.

PS. If you struts / springs are bad, your bushings are probably bad as well. Better check and replace at the same time. (polyurethane bushings are highly recommended)

Yes machan. You are right. Recently I replaced my car shocks/boots/mounts. still no fault.

Are your struts leaking / physical damaged / worn off? If so, no point of repairing.

• You can replace them with Tein / Kony / BC Racing / HDrive / Eibach coilovers. This is expensive but gives you adjustable ride height / adjustable camber / adjustable spring stiffness. (do not buy ebay coilovers)
• You can buy struts from Monroe / KYB non oem (performance) / there are many other decent brands and get some high quality progressive springs from H&R (German) or some other reputable brand. This is cheaper than coilovers but gives you good performance / comfort. Ride height is not adjustable but you can pick the spring based on your desired height / spring stiffness.
• Custom coilovers - Not sure if anyone in SL makes custom coilovers, so no point in discussing. Will be super expensive anyway.

If strut top is damaged but the strut is still good, you can easily just replace the strut top. (super cheap)

If springs are damaged or worm out but the struts are still good, you can buy progressive springs from H&R (German) or some other reputable brand and just replace the springs. This is highly recommended for owners of sedans/hatchbacks, as you can lower the cars safely and get better grip.

Ansons Traders for Tien it seems. I'm not sure about who's importing the other brands as I haven't lived here in a long time. Usually I prefer to buy OEM from amayama.com & performance parts from rhdjapan.com. H&R you can find pretty much anywhere including Ebay.
