Allow me to speak on behalf of them. If they ever so much as question a letter in the quran, they are going straight to hell. So there's no damn way they are gonna say anything contradictory to the meeracull quran

Anyway I found some of the long posts helpful for me to learn about Islam. But I have to agree I see no logic in some of the things posted.

You say democracy is a box that we are confined to!

Well... OK! its not the best solution.. AGREED!!!

But is there a batter all round solution?

Example:

You are a Sri Lankan... Sri Lanka is a multi racial country and you being a Muslim does not make the numbers to be the majority of the country.. its a fact, am I right?

So say.. Sri Lankan govt. strip the frame of democracy in SL and adopt something else... they do whatever they wish and they say it is said in Buddhism!

I know I'm talking about my kind... BUT can your race be assured of your position as equal Sri Lankans? Will your children get the same level of education as Sinhalese? Will your race get same business opportunities as Sinhalese? Will your race be assured of your safety even? (there's extremists among Sinhalese too )

If Sinhalese decide to treat you like this who will stop them? and that's why democracy is very important, though its not the best solution its the solution that guarantees your well being as a minority!!!

Its just one example of many possibilities....
