There were some issues....That's true. My own mother had an adverse reaction to the AstraZeneca - GBS - which was quite noted at that time. The Pfizer had it's own share of problems but later on it was identified why.
The vaccines were deployed on emergency basis and there wasn't the standard trial time frames which should have been normally applicable.
BTW did your mother get infected with Covid?
