The Vietcong killed here actually one of those who lead the massacre of residencies living in government quarters during the 1968 Tet offensive. The victim had involved in killing civilians during the previous night including the Deputy commander of the South Vietnamese Police and his family. and after clearing the area police chief found out that this is the one who lead the death squad.
