Muchan, i would go with latest HD 5770. Its DirectX 11 card and better than 4870. Power consumption also great.

Don't go for the 4870 or 5770 they are basically the same, the 512MB will especially bottleneck. If I were to make a pick I'd go for 4890 1 or 2GB. But 35000 for any of those cards is murder. Clearly not worth it.

4870 and 5770 are not the same. One is DX11 and DX10. Also 5770 has lot less idle power consumption. You will see the advantage of DX11 card once DX11 games come out.

Ya, of course, if you can spend more than 30K you may get 4890 1G from 32K

5770 is better than 4890 for ur budget.

5770 have dx11 and also have same core clock and same stream processors in 5770.5770 is cheaper than 4890 and low power required card.

5770 is 31K right now, if u can wait a bit till 2010, u might see a down in the price. if u have money go for the latest, cos it will be future proof (u will be able to play all d new games in the future)

I'm Using the same VGA.If you need pics chk ma sigi.I bought for 33500/= frm TNN lanka.They directly imports dat kinds of VGA and they will give you a best price.Say that u're frnd of mine.I think u need at least 600W PSU.I'm using 650W and works fine.Pattama VGA eka meka.I'm playin games with all settings high with full AA.

if u r thinking about future, dx 11 and directcompute go for 5770, but it lag behind the 4870 at dx 10~

either way do not go for 512mb, go for 1 or 2 gb

but i think u better wait for few months and try to pickup high end card like 5870 may b , cos appearing of 5970 and gtx300 in next few months, price gonna down.

I've bought Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB (for 27,500/=) from SLMega and running it with a 500W PSU (4250/=) without any trouble.....and I am playing games like COD 6, NFS Shift, Crisis, Batman bla bla bla....with all settings high with full AA, smoothly.....so far so good....
