මචන්ලා මට ඕනේ කරනවා මෙන්න මෙහෙම වැඩ ටිකක්..

1.ස්ටාෆ් එක 25 වගේ ඉන්න ඔපිස් එකකට නෙක්වර්ක් එකක් හදන්න එකේදී හැමෝටම ලොගින් එකක් ඕනේ..

2. ලොගින් එක අනුව file access කරන්න පුළුවන් වෙන්න ඕනේ.. Ex. marketing අයට විතරක් FIle server තියෙන file access කරන්න පුළුවන්.

3.ඉන්ටෙර්න්ට් limit කරන්න ඕනේ එක්කෙනෙක්ට දවසකට 500 MB වගේ

4. තව access පොයින්ට් කීපයක් තියෙනවා ඒවායින් wifi දෙන්න ඕනේ මෙතැනදී කරන්න ඕනේ ස්පීඩ් එල limit කරන්න ඕනේ...512 KBPS වගේ..

AD for login and access controlling
2 domain controllers with failover and replication with dns and dhcp
File server (a simple windows file server should do)
A VMware environment to run all above - Cisco UCS
A storage to run vms - dell emc ? (This should be the cheapest)
A proxy server for controlling bandwidth etc
WireleSs controller for wifi - you will need a dmz zone if traffic is routing outside
A firewall
Cisco switches with VSs or VPC - (you can get used Nexus ones)
SAN fabric switches

Machan even though this looks like a small company, this involves a lot of stuff as same as in a large organization. This is the only way I would do this as running an office environment just like a homelab is risky. Once you set it up, you can’t ignore it. So you need reliability.

There are two approaches...

First option - The old and easy method of going for a Workgroup. A small office setup. No Domain controller is needed.
You can setup a SMB file share using a Linux machine which will allow you to authenticate & also set permissions to the fileshares.
The SMB server can also be configured to act as a PDC if needed.

Also instead of the Linux SMB server, you can also use a NAS filesystem and use the NAS to control access, or else go for a Cloud file storage.

Second option - When you have more than 25 users on the network it is usually recommended to go for a Domain Controller. The Domain controller lets you to have many features that aren't available in the Workgroup setup. You have much more control over the computers and the resources on the network.

You decide what's easier to implement with your expertise at this stage. If you envisage the network to grow more, like having many more fileservers, printers etc then the Domain controller is the way to go.
