අලුත් lap එකක් ගන්න ඕනේ. educational purpose එකට තමා ගන්නේ ලොකු වැඩ නැහැ basic programming & auto-cad තමා ටිකක් ලොකු වැඩකට තියෙන්නේ.. ගන්න හොද brand එකක් සහ model එකක් මොකක්ද මේ දවස්වල යන.. I5 8th gen or higher වගේ බැලුවේ.. වැදගත්ම දේ battery performance එක පුළුවන් උපරිම එකක් වෙන්න ඕනේ. price around 1.2lks..

ගන්න හොද තැනකුත් ඕනේ, abans, softlogic, singer වගේ යන්නද. නැත්තම් පිටින් ගන්නද.

The laptop is relatively lightweight and having nvme ssd as a boot drive is an added advantage.

2) Acer Aspire 5 A515 (Also 10th gen but comet lake(14nm) instead of ice lake(10nm) )

No ssd on this one. have 15 inch screen and numeric keypad. Gpu is slightly better as well.

3) Asus X512F or X509F

Again no ssd, ram chips are soldered directly onto the motherboard. New asus budget laptops generally have lower built quality and eventually run into issues. (keyboard/touchpad failures, screen artifacts, broken hinges etc.)

Conclusion

The lenovo s340 is overall better buy since it packs latest hardware with an ssd along with decent battery life. The a515 have better graphics performance for occasional gaming but that is not your priority I suppose.

Feel free to look into dell/hp offerings as well, the general rule of thumb when it comes to buying a laptop is go for the newest gen cpu with a bigger battery. having an ssd adds lot more responsiveness in day to day usage. If graphics performance are important, pay close attention to thermals and fan noise as well.
