HAHA Sucks, look at the cheap heat sinks... its a shame they named it as extreme!!!!!

And also you need to peek into the BIOS to really see how *extreme* this mobo is!

Yes heat sink sucks! Intel never made any fascinating mother board with good heat sinks. Temps are high but when it comes to long term stability Intel Rocks. No hidden errors when using for more than 2,3 years. Gigabyte,Foxconn,Asus sucks at that stage! :nerd:

Well... not entirely true for me, I think the options that high end Asus, Gigabyte, DFI and Foxconn like Mobos give, makes you want to push them further, in their stock settings those mobos are as rock steady as others, even more so.. because all those nice heat sinks and heat pipes and are there since its meant to overclock, and if you don't they provide more cooling than other mobos!

P55 chip dont produce that much of heat as a traditional north bridge chip! The P55 is the south bridge like chip! (its not the SB but function as if it was it!) :)

I agree Intels doesnt provide good overclock options, Most of their non-extreme series mobo's doesn't has options for overclocking either. Yes Asus and other mobo's are stable in overclocking and gaming. But if some one buys mobo for future 2~5 years use Ill definitely say buy Intel, Because most of other branded mobos (especially Gigabyte) give many weird errors when using for more and more years,

If you are a gamer who filps away the current mobo when new version comes out, Asus,Foxconn,Gigabyte [EVGA ] brands are ok! :)
