One do not need financial guru to evaluate nishantha’s progress in last 3-4 years. It is very clear that 46 year old Beer Nishantha is having his best time since year 2009.During 2005 precedential election, Nishatha was supporting the UNP candidate Ranil Wickramasinha. Soon after 2005 election he was removed from Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation.From 2005 to end 2008,Nishantha had a very lean period ,however in year 2009 Beer Nishantha managed to become the SLC IC secretary. From 2009 onwards Beer Nishantha made his black money for his next 3-4 generations He believes, managing Srilankan cricket is a business today. Cricket business has become a lost making body, thanks to none other than Beer Nishantha. Recently, Beer Nishantha Ranatunga, the Sri Lankan Cricket [SLC] secretary, has described the financial situation of the Cricket board as a “short-term liquidity problem,” and claimed it was nothing more serious than that. Ranatunga, who did not contested for the secretary’s post during the SLC elections, defended the decision of the interim committee headed by DS de Silva to build a stadiums in Hambantota and Pallekele, which left SLC heavily in debt. Beer Ranatunga was the secretary at the time as well. Now Nishantha is blaming D.S????
