Oops.. Return is CUN -SFO - and onwards. I have nothing to do in SFO either, have visited Yosemite, Lake Tahoe areas during both the summer and early spring. One of my wife's batchmates resides in Palo Alto. She likes to visit her and then probably drive to places where we haven't been before. Many Thanks!

Started around 8 AM from the hotel and drove to Peublo. On the way visted the township of Chulola - several beautiful churches are there in tha area. On the way you can see an active volcano - Mount Popocatépetl - the photo is not very clear though.
Today being Sunday many people are enjoying the day with their families in Pueblo. Music, dancing and many activities.

There are some roads which you should avoid. Motorways are generally safe. I am travelling to Palenque as well (The Tomb of the Red Queen - Reina Roja) - a stretch of road here is well known kappang area. I will get a travel operator to do this stretch. There are a couple of beautiful waterfalls on the way.
Travel operators pay these guys and take you in groups of 10 in a mini-bus.

Can manage... I have travelled in the South Americas up to Ushuaia before and managed. Also now you have the G Translator App which can be used offline by downloading the language pack. Anyway I do have a TelCel SIM which is very cheap here.
