Ya this generation of ATI has been quite impressive. 300$ more for just 10 FPS???

And out of topic, according to TH the 9800GTX is faster than the 4850 but as i recall some sites stated that the 4850 is faster @ higher resolutions with AA. My question what is the better buy? 9800GTX is also reasonably cheap.

the best buy so far is if u have 400$ to spare..buy two 4850 cards...nothing can beat that price to performance ratio, next in line is 8800 GT on SLI wich is a wee bit slower

    ATI Rocks this time.

I love ATI since Rege 128

Dual Core ATI HD4870X2 coming next month & price is $459-$499(According to reports). It will beat nVIDIA GX280.GX280 is damn hot & power hungry card + It'll not support DX10.1 (No Future Proof)

Go ATI. 9800GTX can't beat ATI HD4850.ATI card is better with AA enabled mean picture quality is better than nVIDIA.

Stop it moron! I didn't say it is bad. Just that your arguments against nVidia were bad! (In other words, YOU SUCK!) HD4000 series rocks!!!

Is that what you are looking in a VGA? If you want superior picture quality then go for Quadro, Geforce is there to pump FPS. Besides there is no "huge" difference in picture quality the two or none at all. Just that the 4850 is faster than the 9800GTX in some cases when AA is on and you are playing on a 24" monitor.

Anyways ATI is the better buy as it is priced @ ~200$ where the green one is priced @ ~230$. But i don't think twice when buying a Nvidia but ATI i have to as it is now AMDs crap:P

    Don't show off your brain

Quadro is for professional graphic workers not for gamers .I think you don't know what is AA enabled picture quality is ....& don't be a nVIDIA fan boy:no:

I can't justify extra 10 FPS nVIDIA cards PUMP without performance hungry AA. So can you tell me who is the winner here???????????

You better read this and This
