try xbx360.
it's much cheaper, easy to mod, there are free online service available which was made in recently, lot of games made for that, Kinetec supported for newly consoles.
much smaller in size games compare with PS3. therefore PS3 uses Blu-RAY
a normal game would be around 30GB< though not all of them.
most of games for Xbox360 would be around 6~8GB. maybe less.
it's from Microsoft the creator of DirectX. so they are the one who got the right to bring up a new version of Dx. as long as the same Dx version exist, there won't be a game which requires a new graphic card.

i have both..
ps3 is far more better than xbox360..
but some titles doesnt come with ps3 version..
other than that..
