I proposed you to argue with facts that dialog is the best. No need to here post stories...
dont try 2 change the track i dnt have any prob with dialog other than the charges...
As I know some people doest how to change to normal kit dialog sim to per second billing kit.(*#456#) bla bla
They are targetting that type of poor people make the bigget proffit
I know the per second billing z more benificial than normal rates...
But dialog shoud give that benifit 4 the people what i mentioned earlier

what you c is not the reality. You c the lowest rates but not the lowest bill @ the end of the month.
You have to b more curies on this kind of factors to extract the real story. people who is capable (the majority of more than 55% ) use it. rest of the people shouting on it.

For the people like KUMARAMCR who take calls only to mobitel and land lines, also want to get in to a 1000mintz limit wch only can be use btween 00.00 - 06.00p.m. Mobitel is a good plan for them..

But far as I knw most of people taking calls to all the network and most of them takin calz after 6p.m. For them DiALOG is a gud plan..bcz there D2D 1000mintz can be use at any time of the day. Also bcz of the persecnd billing systm they gtn low cost for th callz than mobitel.. May be mobitel hv th lowst cal chargz bt wen th monthly bil cmz it also b the higst bil.. Jus lik DJMASITH said sm people shoutin only lukn at th lowest cal chrgz but not the lowest bill.. The people who cant undrstan tat simple thn n also the people who r only wna get ther calz limit to mobitl n landlines ptn thread cndmn DiALOG. . 55% f peopl stl using DiALOG.. But If the bill is beyond the what u called as per the rates U can simply challenge to the any service provider and go to the commsion TRC and make them real trouble...

I agree with u dialog good 4 the ppl calling less than 1000 min only for DIALOG
Please understand U never get a chance to call to Land/CDMA using dialog for a rate of 0.50 cents...
remember if u exceed the 1000 min u will be chaged Rs.2 even u call 2 dialog
I prefer u come with basic fact specially call charges

Notice issued on Dialog over ringing tone


Colombo Commercial High Court yesterday issued notice on Dialog Telecom PLC returnable on July 30 in connection with an Intellectual Property case filed by famous lyricist and Film Director Sunil Wimalaweera.

Plaintiff Wimalaweera filing the plaint before the Court stated that the defendant company had used the songs written by him for the ringing tones to market and promote mobile phone connections without his permission. This action by the defendant Company had violated the rights of the lyricist guaranteed through the provisions of the Intellectual Property Act, it was said..


Sunil Wimalaweera of Rajasinghe Rd, Mulleriyawa cited Dialog Telecom PLC of Union Place, Colombo 2 as the defendant. Plaintiff Wimalaweera stated that the defendant had sold the song Hiripoda Wessa Wageya that he wrote for the film Hiri Poda Wessa as a ringing tone for its customers and had unlawfully earned money.

He also stated that the defendant had sold the song as a ringing tone after advertising in newspapers.


The plaintiff further said that the defendant had sold the song Samanala Hanguman written by him through the defendant’s website violating the provisions of the Intellectual Property Act.


Wimalaweera in the plaint also stated that he had produced and directed the films Sugandi, Patipatini. He further said that he was the lyricist of the song Obage Lowa Magemai he composed for the the film Harima Badu Thunak.

I'm also talking about the call charges. what my point is with all tha VAS (value added services) provided by Dialog your monthly bill or reload amount is getting lesser than others. You people just looking on the rates. just think y Mobitel or airtel not coming on to per second billing.have u ever think on that????? that's coz thay have the lowest call rates but the unit is high (minuets). Dialog also have competitive call charges with the lesser rate unit (seconds). plus there's life time discount, My 10 with 5 outer network numbers. this is where u get the benefit. If these options does not give any effect Mobitel and Airtel also can introduce these options in this competitive market. but they don't. did u ever think why's that??????

Dear Frend... No need to introduced lifetime or any other discount coz their having lowerst call chages even dialog cant reach with disconts....say their outgoing Rs.7 offpeak for any number if 50% discunt given charges is 3.50 but mobitel 2.50 from 1st minute.
