A friend bought a 2020 M2 Competition recently. 331kW and 550Nm of Twin Turbo straight six glory!

Revvs all the way to redline with absolutely no signs of lag! A bit too much power and torque for the rear wheels to cope with at times, but lots of fun!





Here`s the little beast next to my little nugget.!!

Surprisingly, almost the same length. Track and width is a different story

I know one cannot compare 400+ HP and 2020 design and chassis dynamics to a 30 year old car, but to be totally honest, the E30 still gives me more smiles per gallon! Maybe it`s just me.



Now here`s that engine in action.

Idle and revving in 'M2 - Sport Plus' mode :



Up and down through the gears... i wasn't game enough to even try side-ways in a car I`m no familiar with..

සෑහෙන්න දුරට දැනෙනවා මචන්... 2nd gear and 3rd gear හොදටම දැනෙනවා... කාර්පට් පාරෙත් 2nd, 3rd wheel spin වෙන්න බලනවා, වැස්ස වෙලාවට නම් නිකන්ම drift වෙනවා ඇති.. සීට් එකට තද වෙලා බෙල්ල ගැලවෙන තරමටම acceleration එකක් එන්න්න නම් මම හිතන්නේ horse power 600 වත් ඕනේ ඇති.. මේ වගේ engine එකක් ලේසියෙන් 600 ට tune කරන්න පුළුවන්, මේක නම් තාම අලුත් මුකුත්ම modifications කරලා නෑ ...

පොඩ්ඩක් කැලේ පාරවල් වල, බීච් එකට එහෙමත් යන්න හිතාගෙන CRV (AWD) එකක් ගත්තා. 2.4 i-VTEC (K24) , දෙය්යනේ කියල කිලෝමිටර් ලක්ස 2-3 දුවන්න පුළුවන් engine එකක්.. CVT/DCT, turbo, GDI, කතන්දර මුකුත් නැත. වෙලාවට තෙල් මාරු කරා, සර්විස් කරා .. දිව්වා...

කවුරු හරි මේකෙ rear differential එක ගැන ඇහුව මතකයි..

අද මම differential fluid මාරු කරපු නිසා පොඩි අප්ඩේට් එකක් දාන්න හිතුව..

මේකෙ rear differential එකේ hydraulic pump එකක් තියෙනව.. ඒක නිසා honda dual pump fluid එක දාන්න ඕනෙ..

රෑම්ප් එකෙ උඩ දාගත්තම වැඩේ ලේසි..

Drain plug එක ගලවල බෑව..

Filler plug එක ගලවල පොඩි පම්ප් එකකින් පිරෙව්වා.. විනාඩි 15 වැඩේ..

මේක factory එකෙන් ආවට පස්සෙ diff fluid මාරු කරල නෑ වගේ.. කලු වෙලා බඩු.. කෝකටත් කියල මැනල බැලුව drain වෙච්ච ප්‍රමාණය.. 1.1 litres drain වෙලා, අලුතින් ගත්තෙ 1 liter කෑන් එකක්.. ආයෙ කඩේ යන්න බෑ.. ඉතුරු 100ml ඊලග පාරම පුරවනවා..
