bt ps3 gets technicle prblems0.02%.....n no over heating problems......xbox gets 35.72% n overheating problem n red death problem
That's saying that 1 out of every 3 xbox 360 units in the world have a technical problem. I cannot agree with that statement as I have 10 friends who have xboxes and they have never had any problems with thier units. Also, they have the original release of the system purchased 2 years ago.
I think most of the people out there who use the system are children that do not know how to handle a piece of electronic hardware properly (ie. use it in conditions that are not favourable), but then again the Microsoft should have made a device that can handle the conditions of most home environments (ie. dust, carpet, etc...).
That statement is rather limited in proof as it doesnt seem to have a source of data. when looking at it i ask "well how many xbox units did they look at when making that assumption?", "how many ps3's are out there compared to xbox?", "ps3 is a relatively new product compared to the xbox, how do we know that the ps3 wont fail sometime down the road?"
Everyone will have a different experience with this product. I cannot guarantee that it will or will not fail on you, but that's the risk that people take. It's life.
I've had some faulty motherboards that I had to return to the company. I've had a faulty video card that i've had to send to the company. My point is that there is no guarantee that something will last. It's the luck of the draw.
Reason for Xbox to be better?
1. smaller processor die = less current draw
2. less current draw= less heat dissipated
3. less heat dissipated means less chance the solder melting when the xbox is in operation (thus less chance of this red ring of death)
4. less heat = the slower fan speed
5. slower fan speed= less noise from the fans (but the cd drive will always be loud)
this is all dependent on the ambient temperature of where your xbox resides. If you live in a hot place (ie. 30 degrees ambient temperature, then the xbox will kick up the fan speed to remove the heat generated by the electronics).
anyway I think i've said enough. I'm not sure about your technical know-how, and I don't mean to question your intelligence, but this is my two-cents on the issue of "xbox vs ps3 stability"
