Questnet/QI reappearing in Sri Lanka ?

Hi everyone,

Wish you a very happy new year to you all!

I got to know recently that QuestNet/QI is reappearing in Sri Lanka and it is going to be registered company as well. But this time they are coming up with different concept without Gold Coin and introducing bio disc, holiday packages, etc. However I guess the end result will be same like earlier.


Anyway, I want to know anyone of your know whether it is legalized in SL and Register as a company since I’m away from country since few years.

Yes, it is a MLM company. As far as I know it was ban in SL around year 2000 when it was marketing Gold Coin. But I don't know the situation today....

I have been hearing lots of financial scams recently in SL which bring down the SL economy further I suppose. However if they legalized these sort of MLM business, it will going to have a huge impact as well.

By the way, I forgot to mentioend earlier.... One of my friend showed me a business card of a QuestNet/QI representative in SL who is also having a office in Katunayaka Junction. I coun;t belive this.. That's why I was so curious to know about this....

there are strict guide lines for operation of legitimate MLM companies in countries like USA, however they are legal. I think these guys appearing as a MLM company and going to start a pyramid business (in MLM company more than 70% of products should be sold outside the marketing network but according to what I heard these guys are selling products among themselves).

I know he/she is your friend... but before he/she and lot of other people get into trouble you have a duty to report this to authorities!!

I have already sent a mail to SL Central Bank and not receive any response till date. So I don't know where to inform or report regarding this.

Secondly, I try my level best to make people aware about this scam who are around me. I'm attaching herewith the business card of the friend who is already engaged in this business and do people hunting. I think we all should get to gether to stop it if it is not a legal business in SL since lots of poor people's money are being taken by these guys.

If anyone of you know how to report such illegal business, pls. do let me know.
