almost every song she has written is natural and beautiful etc,, tht shows the talent of the writer, doesn't it,,
tho they incoporate a great deal of personal experience in their songs,, tht does't mean every single song they write abt is their own experience,, sometimes people come up to them and ask them to write songs abt different things,experiences,situations etc,, they also write abt things they see in the society etc,,
and i doubt she's bi either
and i dnt thnk being gay is something one shd be ashamed of either

hmm yeah ...you've got a point ..specially when you are writing lyrics for money

ඔයාල කියන දේ මං පිළිගන්නෙ නෑ මො‍කද මේ නිර්මාණය ගැන මගේ අදහස ඊට පටහැනි නිසා. හැම නිර්මාණයක් ම තමන්ගේ ම ජීවිත තුළින් බිහිවෙන්නෙ නෑ. ලෝකය ඒ නිර්මාපකය දකින විදිය අනුව බිහිවෙන ගොඩක් නිර්මාණ තියනව. ඒක නිසා ඒ අයගෙ පවුද්ගලිකත්වයට හානි වෙන විදියෙ ප්‍රකාශ කරමින් ලාභ තෘප්තියක් ලබන්න එපා. හරියට කරුණු නොදැන් දේවල් කියන එක සුදුසු නැති දෙයක්. අනිත් දේ තමයි එයාලගේ පවුද්ගලිකත්වය හා නිර්මාණ රසවිඳීම කියන්නෙ දෙකක්. එයාලගෙ පවුද්ගලිකත්වය අපිට අදාල නෑ. නිර්මාණය පමණයි විවේචණය විය යුත්තේ.

මගේ පෞද්ගලික මතයනම් කලාකරුවන්ගෙ පුදගලික ආකල්ප ගැනත් හිතන්න ඕන. මේ වගේ උදාහරණ වලින් ඒක වඩාත් තහවුරු වෙනවා. මම කියන්නෙ දේශපාලනික අදහස් ගැන නෙමේ. නමුත් මම හිතන්නෙ නෑ සමලිංගික නොවන කෙනෙක් එය සාධාරණීකරණය වෙන ගීතයක් ගායනා කරයි කියල හෝ එහෙම ගීතයක් රචනා කරයි කියල.

කොහොම වුණත් මට නිරාකරණය කරන්ගන්න බැරිව තිබුණෙ යමුනා යොදා තිබුණු උපමා නෙමේ
"ලොවට නොපෙනෙන අරුම සෙනෙහස" , ,..කරනු බැරි තහනම්" වගේ ‍පද කිහිපයක්. සමන්තගෙ quote එකෙන් ඒවා නිරාකරණය වුණා.

you are mostly right..

but as somebody who's always paid a great deal of attention to lyrics of songs he loves, i have to say, to know the real facts that influenced the lyrics make it much more enjoyable to me I'm afraid that i can't give you examples in sinhala music.

Personaly I cannot agree with these ideas on homosexual relationships.There can be countless number of relationships other than that .Even think ..this boy loves a a blind girl?? No one thinks pure love will be there.But there is a possibility .Or else think of a girl loves an injured handicapped soldier??

in literature or song lyrics the moon and stars have been used to represents guys and girls forever right...i never heard a song that used sun and another star, sun is also a star if you see where im going, to represent a straight love case.. it is very probably that she used two natural objects that's given two different sexualities to convey her message thru.. and how come that old and young this is obvious to you but that gender difference thing? ok if you want to use that, this is probably about a young girl being in love with the song writer.

and also the fact that we aren't likely to see sun and other stars concurrently in the sky influenced my opinion. I'm only saying this is very probable..may be in truth, writer wrote about eating beef going against our culter

and i can't really see any incest in this song so pls feel free to explain

why can't there be pure love in a case of a blind girl and a ..not so blind guy or a in a case of a girl and a disabled soldier?

The sun, moon, stars comes down to literature mainly from sun worshiping cultures (Egyptian, Mayan, Aztech, etc.) where Sun is considered the founder, man or father and moon his spouse.
