    දැන් එන්නේ ඒක , උන් ගාව බඩු නෑ කියන ඒවා අපේ ප්‍රශ්න නෙවෙයිනේ මචන්.
    එහෙනම් මුන් ඕවා කියන්න ඕන අපි අයිටම් එකක් පර්චස් කරනකොටම මෙන්න මෙහෙම තමා වෙන්නේ මේ මේ කාලය තුලදි කියලා.

    සමාන පර්ෆෝමන්ස් දෙන කාඩ් එකක් ඉල්ලපන් , එහෙම නැත්තම් කරුණාකරලා සල්ලි රිෆන්ඩ් කරන්න කියපන්.
    ඕකට කැමති නැත්තම් ගේම ඇදපන් උබට තියන කන්ටැක‍්රස් වලින්.

    In case you misunderstood what was communicated over the phone, we'll put it down here in writing.

    First of all apologies for the delay in processing your RMA. Working with foreign vendors can take 2 to 6 weeks and generally we have no control over how fast the processing works. Warranty is offered by the manufacturer, and not the store that sells the product, so you will receive a replacement once we get a replacement from the manufacturer. Our responsibility with regard to warranty ends here.

    With regard to your initial replacement of a HD 7730 by a R7 240, the manufacturer has decided to replace your card with an R7 240 instead of either a HD 7730 or a R7 250, which would have been more acceptable replacements. As the card was received as a replacement for your card from the manufacturer, it was returned to you as is by our technical staff. I believe this fact was clarified to you today by one of our Directors.

    Since we agree that this is an unfair replacement, as an additional service we have offered you a couple of solutions at our cost.

    1. A brand new GT 730 2GB GDDR5 graphics card as a direct replacement to your HD 7730 1GB GDDR5. This is the equivalent performing current generation card we have available. You will be getting a newer generation card that's marginally faster but also with double the memory capacity. Since you mentioned - in case you haven't noticed, newer generation Nvidia cards have lower bit rates than equivalent AMD graphics cards, so the card being a 64-bit card doesn't mean it's slower than a 128-bit card from AMD.

    2. An upgrade to a R7 250X 1GB GDDR5 for Rs 3,000/=more. This is a card two tiers above your card (equivalent to a HD 7770) with a price gap of around Rs 7,000/= at the time of purchase. You can expect a 30-40% performance increase with this upgrade.

    If you are unhappy with either option, please return your R7 240 to us along with your bank details for a full refund of your original purchase value.

    I hope you find one of these solutions satisfactory.

    I saw Zer0's last update..

    So the update.

    Sapphire has replaced the HD 7730 with a R7 240 because it's a similar value product. This was the card sent back.

    The customer was offered two solutions, a brand new GT 730 2GB GDDR5 - a card that's slightly faster than his old card, also with twice the memory, or a R7 250X - a significantly faster card for just 3k more.

    But the thing is when he was calling for the second time, I was on the way for a office duty. So I couldn't hear him well and I thought he was talking about a brand new 7730 with a 64bit bus..

    btw i will consider his first offer if it is a kepler 2.0 GT730 equipped with a GK208 chip which has a 64bit memory bus. (https://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/1988/geforce-gt-730)

    ..but I checked redline price list and found that they only sell Palit GT730..
    personally I have never used Palit before so I don't know if they are reliable like Asus or Sapphire

    I have no idea why he is asking me to pay extra 3k for a replacement when the fault is in their hands..

    Then what sets you guys apart from other shops in the country? If someone buys a product from your store, they do it because they trust your shops reputation for good after sales service. End user would not care about your communication with the manufacturer or any of the business process behind it. If your responsibility for warranty ends at the mercy of the manufacturer, what's the difference from buying from you guys and from just another shop in Unity Plaza?

    I'm not talking about the time it took for the RMA process here. In my opinion, if the manufacturer offered a card that is a downgrade from the original purchase, it is you guys responsibility to bear the cost and ensure the customer gets a product that has equal performance or better. Any loss you bear from that is the cost of your reputation as a 'good' business.

    I see you have offered two options now both of which I'd agree are fair enough. But why was a sub standard card given to the customer in the first place. And these offers were made only after he posted his issue in a public forum? Or am I mistaken here?

    OK this is my decision..

    after considering your solutions I have to say that both of them are unfair with regard to my issue..

    I can accept your first solution, which I was given a GT730 as a replacement, if you can clearly clarify following benchmark results..

    (mistake is not mine. It's yours. If you run a restaurant and if a customer found out a cockroach in food, you have to be responsible for everything. You have to pay a fine to the authorities)

    do not ask me to come and collect the item at your shop. If I do, you have to pay my traveling cost and recompense my salary for one day.

    I would accept the second solution if I do not have to pay that extra 3k.

    do not try to cheat me again. I am a government officer who knows the state law and how to deal with racketeers.

    IF YOU DO A FAULT BY A MISTAKE OR WHATEVER REASON YOU HAVE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. AND YOU HAVE TO PAY A COMPENSATION TO THE CUSTOMER FOR WASTING HIS VALUABLE TIME AND EFFORT.
