I'm pretty sure it has all the options, but why would you recommend something like this. please tell me why why why

again, I will give you ++ reps the next time.

thanks for your time on this thread

You no nothing about station wagons......

I didn't recommend it. I just said that this car has all the options and even more actually, than 2016 kwid.

athe tiyena ganata yane wene ara wage wahana welata bun. mage athe tibbe laksha 6.5i, ithuru tika lease :sorry:

Look machan, this is absolutely ok. You are buying your 1st vehicle that is 2 mil but for me when I went for my 1st vehicle I only had 1.1 that's all I could afford. So went for a Nissan Presea at that time. I have even posted my story here. So nothing to feel bad about it.

    Don't be scared:

Then I learned many things using this. Lot of life lessons machan. From how to select spare parts to respecting the machines. Used it for 4 years, clocked more than 220K on the ODO. By the time I sold it I manged to get about 400K more for the vehicle, which covered my repair costs and most of the fuel I used. Not to mention that the stability of the vehicle and security systems saved my life few times on the road. This one time machan, i was driving in an morning hour and a stupid bus driver appeared from a bend trying to overtake another vehicle. No space to avoid it. So I braked hard as I could turned left, which was a small patch of sand. That day I learned why vehicles have ABS and how it serves us. Without ABS I'm pretty sure I will not be here to tell this.

    It is what it is

I don't feel the majority is complaining or trying to force you on any direction. They just find you.... how to put this nicely... not very smart machan.

    1. Beginning of a thread i saw you argue there is no point of security systems, not true machan and can you imagine how you sound like?

    2. I noticed you mentioning resale value is not important, that's not smart bro, I'm not from a rich background, so unless I invested my money smartly I would have never been able to purchase my current vehicles. So those are the things you need to learn.

    3. Old vehicles break, well they do. But there is a limited amount of parts in each. They cannot break randomly machan. All you have to do is learn.

So don't try to justify a purchase decision by trying to build something that is not there and absolutely wrong. That's called trying to be a "pandithaya". I noticed it well when you commented about driving experience.

There is a ton of things you need to learn before making a call machan. So this would be my last effort to educate you. You got ball's machan, i give that to you. But decisions without proper knowledge is equally dangerous.

So i'm going to jump off this thread, I saw the points were proven very well by others more than once. Now if you wonder what right I have to say this. Well I come from a connected family in the vehicle parts industry. I get to talk with dealers on family events and such. Not directly my parents but bit close. This brings me a lot of inside knowledge and reality of the market. So I have a basis machan. For example today I'm going to put a thread about AMT's, all inside details received from dealers (I cannot put names of course)

So drive safe. My tip for you, please get a under cote done for your car. You cannot do this later. At least within 3 months. It should be less than 16K.

I'm not surprised machan, this is a country where 50% people fails O/L exams

And nobody can tell anyone what to drive, but they can sure advise based on their experience.

For this thread I enjoy their company to carry this forward. so far I have received 100% success.

    1. Beginning of a thread i saw you argue there is no point of security systems, not true machan and can you imagine how you sound like?

No machan. I know dee in my heart that these security systems works very well. But not having them will not make you die. There are many indian/japanese (very old) cars wothout ABS that are doing fine.

its like that saying : "you dont need shoes to run, but it fucking helps"

    2. I noticed you mentioning resale value is not important, that's not smart bro, I'm not from a rich background, so unless I invested my money smartly I would have never been able to purchase my current vehicles. So those are the things you need to learn.

I'm not from a rich background bro. I work my ass off to earn this money. But I
never buy a vehicle as a investment. My original decision was to exchange to the AMT version of this when it arrives.

And already the KWID has change the face of auto mobile industry in India. it took just one vehicle to change the world.

Indian vehicles have there own market, if things may go the way they are going now. I will sell my vehicle in perfect condition to another

read my other thread there is a corrosion protection warranty as well.

    3. Old vehicles break, well they do. But there is a limited amount of parts in each. They cannot break randomly machan. All you have to do is learn.

Yes, I dont like to patch and drive. That's pass!

I want to be able to drive at least 100000km without a problem. Is that too much to ask for if your spending this kind a money?

So don't try to justify a purchase decision by trying to build something that is not there and absolutely wrong. That's called trying to be a "pandithaya". I noticed it well when you commented about driving experience.

I have not said a word about something thats not in KWID. I have stated very clearly about whats in it and whats not.

My 6 month research showed lot of potential in this vehicle and when came to Sri Lanka our people showed the enthusiasm. Well I'm not a "pandithaya", I told only what I've experienced and know.

I have driven few Japanese cars as well. And I assure you that If I had the money to go for one, the kwid is not my concerns, but still I will not blindly condemn a car that is considered as the car of the year without knowing facts like a moron.

There is a ton of things you need to learn before making a call machan. So this would be my last effort to educate you. You got ball's machan, i give that to you. But decisions without proper knowledge is equally dangerous.

I have made my decision based on facts and experience which I knew know to me accurate. I have calculated my risks pros and cons . Its you who should be educated because

I'm the only one who has driven a KWID in this thread other than Japanese cars.So I can only compare. Remember that before anything else

So i'm going to jump off this thread, I saw the points were proven very well by others more than once. Now if you wonder what right I have to say this. No body proved anything to anyone all they did was saying bunch of stuff about buying Japanese very old cars for this price. Telling you again buddy, this is a Renault Kwid thread not a Japanese old car sale thread.

Some people want to make others buy the vehicle they want, there was a nice reply for those kinds of people in my other thread.

    here you go,
    Code:
ramishka;20359603 : I've been following both your threads because I actually was interested to know the details of KWID as I would with any car in the SL market.

One thing I realized is that Elakiri is full of know-it-alls who seem to think OTHER people should buy the car THEY want.
If you take these threads, it's actually 10% about the KWID and 90% about pretentious a-holes shaming the OP's choice to buy it and promoting and comparing all kinds of other vehicles that do not provide any value to a KWID review.

One thing you all should understand is that people have different requirements, different opinions and different choices when it comes to buying a vehicle. Just because they didnt choose the car you would have bought don't make them idiots or inferior to you.

So drive safe. My tip for you, please get a under cote done for your car. You cannot do this later. At least within 3 months. It should be less than 16K.

Yes, I will get this done for further assurance. You say you are form a family where connected to vehicle market. I'm pretty sure that you are talking about Japanese cars??

Buddy, I was in Japanese in 2005 and you wont believe what I've seen!!

Finally Cars are Vehicles you used to drive around, dont get too attached!

    Thanks!
